
Creme fraiche is so easy to make, it is a french version of sour cream but oh so rich and creamy. It is amazing for in recipes that require a cream base!
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons cultured full-fat buttermilk
- 2 cups organic heavy cream
- 1 clean pint jar
Instructions:
Pour heavy cream in 1 pint jar
Add buttermilk, stir, then cover with cheesecloth so that the mixture can breathe. Let sit for 24 hours at room temperature (about 72F or 22C) to thicken.
Cover with lid and place in refrigerator.
