Today was Zeta Tau Alpha 5 K run for life which raises money to support breast cancer research and awareness.
The weather cooperated beautifully, the attendance was great, and it was really heartwarming to see such a supportive crowd come together for this amazing goal.
I was invited to speak at this event as my daughter Zarah had kindly called me asking me if I could do it. Ofcourse I accepted! I have a thousand reasons to accept, because I feel that it is important to share my story and even more important to get people to think about going in for their screenings.
