We are barreling into Spring and it is seedstarting season! My tomato plants are going and growing, as are my peppers, many herbs, and even flowers. There are some new things I purchased this year to make my seedstarting life a bit more efficient and successful. I will share these products below, as I want to share with you why I chose them.
- 4 feet long and 20.75 inches wide heating mats. These mats are a solid upgrade compared to the original seed mats that I used which held one seed tray, these mats are amazing! The temperature can be regulated which means I can slowly lower the temperature to help hardening them off. They came in a two-pack as well so it gave me 8 linear feet of seed tray space. - The second item I bought were seed starting trays. I bought three types, one set was a pack of twelve 12-pod starting pods with a moisture control lid. I used these last year and some weathered in the sun, but I was able to reuse the ones that I had cleaned and stored inside. Their size makes them easily manageable, and they are sturdy and easy to work with. It even comes with garden tools! I do wish they had more plant markers though! https://amzn.to/3FBtVvR
- In addition, I bought a 4-pack of seedling trays where each tray contains 50 pods. I am starting my flowers and some herbs in these. They are of the same material as the 12-pod trays.https://amzn.to/4iIy6og
- Finally, I bought seed starting trays with 3.5 inch square cups so that I can give some of my seedlings that are more sensitive to transplanting more room as to not to disturb the roots too much. I used these pots last year and both the trays and the pots are of excellent quality so I bought more as I am really happy with them. https://amzn.to/4hLg7wp
Now with all this said, I am required to share that the Amazon links were shared through my associates account, so I may earn commission if you were to purchase any of these items.
I hope you found these reviews helpful!
