I watched the news which discussed the mass shooting that happened in Maine, then followed by Jewish students being closed in at a school and quite frankly intimidated by pro-palestinian protesters in NYC.

I am not against Israel or Palestine, I am against terrorist organizations such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthi. It really saddens me that in the last 100 years, we have still not learned.

Parents, grandparents, and anyone who has knowledge to share, talk to your offspring and spread the word about what exactly happened during WW1 and WW2! What we are seeing is a lack of knowledge, and a message that has gotten lost with our younger generations. Let them ask questions, make clear to them how horrible war is, and teach them how war does not offer solutions, it only offers pain and suffering.

Take your kids to a holocaust museum or even visit a nursing home and talk to a WW2 veteran.

Suppression of others is NEVER ok, neither is bullying. While I understand that people want to put blame on a nation, the blame really is with a bunch of terrorists called Hamas and they use Palestinians as a human shield and so any retaliation appears to be against Palestine. Kids, please read up on propaganda, and read up on the roots of dictatorship and read up on Organizations such as the KGB, NSB, and really read up on how one person can scream their lungs out and create a hype which in turns creates followers.

Do not go with the hype. Go for peace. Peace is so much stronger than hate and one can accomplish much more in a much more effective way when there is peace. When there are wars and hate, all parties lose.

Think! Before you get upset at the wrong people.

Think about how you would want to be treated? Think about what these people you are aiming your anger at really did to you personally?

Remember: just because a person may have their heritage in a country whose leadership or terrorist organization took actions that are horrible, it does not mean that you can just generalize this hate against anyone with that heritage. Hate does not accomplish anything!

Prayers go out to all those who lost loved ones, and prayers go out to those in unsafe areas to stay safe. Prayers for all for peace, and freedom from oppression both here in the U.S. and abroad.
